Easy Get Out was created from lived experience — from knowing what it feels like to need help and not know where to turn, or how to ask. I created this because there were moments in my life when what I needed most wasn’t advice, answers, or explanations — it was care.
Not every hard season looks the same. Some struggles are visible. Others are quiet and easy to miss. Easy Get Out exists so care can meet people where they are, in a way that feels gentle, human, and respectful.
I believe support shouldn’t feel complicated.
And needing help should never feel shameful.
WHAT I OFFER THROUGH EASY GET OUT

At the heart of Easy Get Out are care backpacks — thoughtfully assembled bags meant to offer nourishment, comfort, and a sense of steadiness during difficult moments.

Each backpack is prepared with intention and may include:

These backpacks are offered without requirements or expectations. They’re simply a way of saying: you matter, and you’re not alone right now.
ABOUT the MEALS INSIDE EACH BACKPACK
Effort, Grace, with Optimism
Each care backpack includes MREs (Meals Ready-to-Eat). I chose MREs because they don’t require a kitchen, electricity, or refrigeration — making them accessible in a wide range of situations.

An MRE is a complete, self-contained meal that can be eaten anywhere.
Most MREs include:
A main entrée
A side item
Crackers or bread
A spread (such as peanut butter or cheese)
A snack or dessert
A beverage mix
A utensil, napkin, and seasonings​
Some MREs also include a small heat pack that allows the meal to be warmed using only water — no stove or microwave needed. This makes them especially helpful for people without consistent access to cooking facilities.

Including MREs allows me to offer a reliable meal that’s ready whenever someone needs it.

Blankets for warmth and comfort
Thermal foil blankets that help retain body heat
Fresh clothing for those who need something clean to change into

These items offer more than physical warmth — they offer dignity, relief, and a sense of being cared for. As Easy Get Out grows, I hope to expand what each backpack can hold.
